What is Rage Maker ?

Acknowledging there is a need for more comic based memes, Rage Maker sets out to provide a very cool platform for helping the user create them. It works just like a meme creator or generator, for those familiar with such tools; basically you load one or multiple images on top of panels, add captions and save or publish them online. Note that you can easily resize, change transparency and even rotate. With Rage Maker you can even draw, fill color and much more.

Rage Maker also includes a generous image pack on their site; all these images will be grouped up comprehensively to give you that all so needed creative edge.

Using Rage Maker is quite straighforward and intuitive thanks to the well designed graphic interface. You may choose to use you own images; Rage Maker supports multiple types of image input JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP. Add one or more panels and use drag and drop actions for text areas (known as captions), draw areas, images from the left side category panels. Alternatively you can simply use images from URLs.

A preview function is available to help you get an accurate idea of the output. Each time you add a new area or perform an action, these are stored as items that may be cloned, locked, converted as an image, deleted or saved.

The Page View will show you all the images that are within the categories; you can easily browse through all available pictures and add the one you need to the canvas.

In terms of output, Rage Maker will save your progress as a workspace (XML type file), as a PNG to a disk location, automatically upload to imgur / eho.st (link will be displayed instantly to share to your friends). You can even view your past uploads.

Rage Maker includes a color picker and depending on your own needs, you may even add a Reddit watermark.

While you may have used online services in the past to create your own comics, with Rage Maker you can do so much more. Flash is known to slow down browsers or the Internet may go down; Rage Maker however doesn't rely on any of these. You can create your own rantings from the comfort of the desktop environment.
